Biography
Matthias Vriens lives and works between Los
Angeles, New York and Paris.
before working exclusively as a
photographer, Matthias Vriens previously held positions as
Editor-in-Chief / Creative director of Dutch magazine,
worldwide international Creative Director at Giorgio Armani,
and Senior Art Director at Gucci Group.
Matthias Vriens contributes regularly to
publications such as Numéro, i-D, New York Times
Magazine, Men's Vogue, Vanity Fair, Details and GQ.
Vriens's work was exhibited in two solo
shows at The Project, his gallery in New York, as well as
museums worldwide, such as the Moderna Museet, Stockholm, and
the Nederlands Foto Instituut, Rotterdam.
